The Organization already has large plots, and an initial construction work has been done and the buildings are under-utilization some new plans are for Arusha district to have our own permanent shelter there as the problem of child prostitution, domestic servitude and child trafficking and HIV is rapidly growing because Arusha is now the East Africa capital .These initiative is to help the organization so that it can start-up a project to help school drop up girls with evening secondary school classes for girls who have been rehabilitated from the above mentioned areas of focus as they now seem to be tired and loose interest with vocational training skills. 2Arrangemnts can also be made for them to sit for a normal National Examinations

  • Kiwohede looks for across the boarder markets for girl's made products.
  • Kiwohede solicits funds to develop best practices booklet for her work by tracing and trucking girls benefited from her projects since 1999
  • Kiwohede needs funds to develop a five year strategic framework for her program (hire an expert)
  • Kiwohede needs capacity building for staff salaries and administrative costs

Kiwohede strives to prevent child abuse, prostitution, exploitation, hazardous domestic work, child trafficking and prevention of sexual violence, employability vocational training skills through a program of activities designed to ensure full integration and participation of children and youth in society. Due to HIV/AIDS, poverty, and disease the mortality rate for adults in Tanzania is skyrocketing. When adults die, children are thrust into the role of family financial provider, a role they lack the age, skills, and education to perform adequately. The result is a volatile situation in which children and youth subject themselves to abusive employers and harsh working conditions in order to maintain jobs that will provide for them and their families. This is a particularly precarious situation for young girls who find themselves living in a patriarchal society without the needed education or marketable skills; these girls make a living using their only marketable asset, their bodies.
